Senior Data Analyst
Perform Root Cause Analyses on structured and unstructured data within the Shortage Research and Investigation team to uncover patterns in fraud and mitigate the risks associated with Inventory shortage.
Graduate Assistant
Analysed Institutional Research Data using SAS, SQL and Excel, and uncovered insights and patterns on undergraduate and graduate enrollment at UC using Tableau Dashboard for presentation.
Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
- Designed, developed and deployed an Enterprise Data Warehouse for Virgin Media, integrating cable and web data of the Video-on-Demand Offering (net worth $2M USD) from Hadoop and transformed it to build dashboards on the end users’ Quality of Experience and Quality of Service(QoS).
- Mined customer usage data of Virgin Media’s Cable, mobile and Broadband platforms and automated the estimation of incentive points/commissions for Customer care agents which cut operating cost by 22%.
- Spearheaded the design, development and deployment of an Enterprise General Ledger for the integration of 50 sources generating STAT and GAAP finance data for Hartford Insurance Group. The ETL based implementation enabled high RoI by slashing the maintenance cost by 50% during monthly financial close (approx. 8 million USD per annum).
- Led a 5-member team and implemented an ETL pipeline that automated the reporting requirements of Customer's payments performance insights to credit bureau, Equifax.
Senior ETL Developer
Created an Operational Data Store for the Hartford Insurance Group and migrated data and logic from a mainframe system to an Oracle-ETL framework for enhanced data quality and consistency.

Image Captioning using PyTorch
Developed a neural image captioning model using an encoder-decoder architechture to extract the image features from the hidden activations of a pre-trained Convolutional Neural Network and fed them to an LSTM to generate a sequence of words.

Digged into retail data and identified customer purchase patterns with Pricipal Component Analysis and Clustering techniques, along with predicting the probability of reorder using Light Gradient Boosting models with 75% accuracy.

Semantic Similarity Analysis and Topic Modelling (NLP)
Predicted the semantic similarity between Quora questions using Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) with 84% accuarcy on validation dataset. Identified and visualized latent topics that underlie Quora questions using Latent Dirichlet Allocation(LDA) algorithm.

Real-estate Investment Cash Flow Analysis using MS Excel and RISK Optimizer
The objective of this project is to evaluate a couple of real estate assets that are considered for investment. I used a Discounted Cash Flow model coupled with Monte Carlo Simulation to estimate the Net Present Value (NPV) of the properties under consideration and thereby identify which one is an attractive opportunity.
